And we love Daddy and Grandpa for sacrificing their weekend to install them!
Before

After!!!
Prior to this, I was busy painting the kitchen (which hadn't been painted by us)
and Chris took out a cabinet we didn't want. We still have a few more things
to do, but this is where we're at, and it makes me HAPPY:)
Here are a few photo's of before the weekend.

I meant to post this blog yesterday, on his actual special day, but after trying to "catch up" on all my blogging to get to this day, I pooped out and needed to put Finn to bed! Happy 4th birthday Siah! In effort to make his day a little more special than any other Friday, I set up with my friend April (who's hubby is a fireman) to go to the fire station.
David showed us all around the fire house, and let the boys climb in the trucks, spray the fire hose, and even let Josiah honk the horn on the engine!
The little boy next to Josiah is Brock, a friend from the gym who wanted to see the fire trucks too.
Here is Josiah with David after getting his badge for using the fire hose:)
Eli warmed up enough to do it too!
Before we left, they got loaded up with cool stuff!
That's Abby in the picture, next to her daddy.
Thank you for making his day so special Fireman David!

Now, it's no secret that Siah LOVES Spiderman, but he has never actually been exposed to
more than a couple of toys, underwear, and clothing. So, we wondered what he would think about us taking him to the SLO library to see the "real" Spiderman....Let's just say the "be cool, stay in school" message was a little lost on him,
and he was a bit overwhelmed by the photo op. He said, he doesn't like the real spiderman as much as pretend spiderman! Good to know:)

So Eli had another set of tubes put in just over a week ago. That's two Septembers in a row he's gone under the knife.
Lets hope that next September will be surgery free!
This time around, he had his adenoids cauterized, something I knew both his surgeon and pediatrician recommended,
but took us six months to get on board with. Because of the additional procedure, the little guy had to have
heavier sedation, which required an IV.
Here are a few pictures to document the day. Here I am doing double duty. Eli would wake every few minutes and want
which ever parent that wasn't holding him.
After we worked through all this we went home
Most of the day was spent watching tv, eating popcicles and ice cream!
Thankfully, he was back to himself by that afternoon.

Disneyland!!!!
How else would you celebrate your 30th birthday when you have 3 kids??
Well the free admission didn't hurt either. But truth be told, Disneyland is truly one of my favorites!
Growing up so close to it, we went a lot and so for me it truly is a magical place, regardless of crowds
and crazy prices.

The two beautiful girls are the boys friends Scout and Sailor.
They met us there (with their mom, and later their dad and brother) to help
celebrate my big day.
I was so proud of Josiah, he went on both Big Thunder Mtn. and Splash Mtn. with me!
